The Mutual Group (TMG), an integrated insurance operations platform serving the mutual industry, announced that Vineet Bansal has joined the company as chief information and technology officer.
Bansal brings over two decades of global experience in technology leadership across financial services, insurance and private equity-backed companies. He has a proven track record of scaling and modernizing businesses by integrating specialized technology platforms and leveraging digital solutions.
Previously, Bansal served as chief information and technology officer at Oncourse Home Solutions, a portfolio company of Apax Partners, where he led a major carveout, drove several technology transformation initiatives and spearheaded M&A activities. He has also held C-level roles at Intact Specialty Insurance and IptiQ, a subsidiary of Swiss Re, and served as vice president at Fidelity Investments.

Emerald Bay Risk Solutions, a collaborative underwriting carrier, has appointed Tracey Sharis as chief executive officer, effective March 20.
Sharis brings more than 25 years of insurance experience, leading and growing numerous E&S and specialty insurance businesses. She joins Emerald Bay from Liberty Mutual Insurance, where she led as president, Global Risk Solutions for North America Programs. She previously held leadership roles at Ironshore Insurance, Aon Benfield and AIG’s Lexington Insurance Company, where she began her insurance career.
Sharis is also a member of the advisory board of Target Markets Program Administrators Association, an industry organization dedicated to the unique challenges of program specialists.

Coalition has hired Maha Virudhagiri as the company’s first chief technology officer. Virudhagiri will lead engineering, IT, infosec, data and artificial intelligence efforts to accelerate Coalition’s advantage in both insurance and cybersecurity.
Virudhagiri spent nearly seven years at Tesla, leading the company’s global digital experience organization and a worldwide team of engineers, product managers and designers. Before Tesla, Virudhagiri held leadership roles at Ancestry and Walmart Labs.
