Ping Data Technology, an insurance technology provider of artificial intelligence driven data ingestion, cleansing and geocoding solutions, and ACORD Solutions Group have announced a strategic partnership.

Ping’s technology specializing in property statement of values, combined with ACORD Transcriber’s intelligent document processing capabilities, aims to transform the way property underwriters assess property risks previously held on complex SOV documents.

The partnership leverages Ping’s SOV ingestion technology with ACORD Transcriber’s data extraction and population AI models to process all ACORD Forms, including SOVs 140 and 125s, exchanged in the U.S. property/casualty industry. The integration enables property underwriters to extract SOVs and auto-feed into catastrophe models, including RMS and AIR, and see the visualized output on an intuitive user interface.

Clearwater Analytics, a global provider of SaaS-based investment management, accounting, reporting, and analytics, announced that it has been selected by Industrial Alliance Portfolio Management to enhance the company’s performance attribution and risk analysis capabilities.

IAPM is using the Clearwater Analytics Risk & Performance Solution to perform in-depth factor-based attribution and ex-ante risk analyses. Users can customize performance benchmarks and metrics across all asset types. The solution aims to streamline workflows and merge with its current Clearwater investment accounting platform, which replaces a prior legacy attribution and risk system that depended on manual-based data reconciliation between systems.

Earlier this year, Clearwater Analytics acquired Wilshire Advisor LLC’s analytics solutions to merge them with its own risk and performance analytics platform. The new offering aims to help clients calculate performance and risk attribution, assist with security-level portfolio construction, uncover new strategies, access high-quality portfolio models, and identify investment opportunities.
