Everest Re Group announced that Matthew Rohrmann has joined the company as senior vice president, head of Investor Relations. He will be focused on strategic planning, market analysis and ratings agency interactions, and will report directly to Everest EVP and CFO Mark Kociancic.
Rohrmann succeeds Jon Levenson.
Rohrmann most recently served as global head of Investor Relations at AXIS Capital and prior to that director of Investor Relations at AIG and Willis Towers Watson. He began his career as a financial analyst in equity research for Nomura Securities and Keefe, Bruyette & Woods.

Erie Insurance has promoted Tim Shine to senior vice president in IT, effective May 19.
Shine will report to Erie CIO Partha Srinivasa in this newly created role and focus on sales and product technology, leading technology transformation across personal lines, commercial lines and Erie Family Life.
Shine, most recently VP of information technology, brings 25 years of professional technology experience rooted in software engineering to this new SVP role. Since joining the insurer in 1999, he has led the modernization of the company’s core insurance systems, including the delivery of the Quoting and Application System (QAS), ERIESecure Business and ERIE Express Life.
Prior to Erie, Shine held technology roles at State Farm and General Electric Transportation.

W.R. Berkley Corporation has appointed Luis Rivera as president of Berkley Global Product Recall.
He succeeds Louis Lubrano, who has been named chairman of the business. The appointments are effective immediately.
Rivera is a veteran executive with more than 25 years of commercial property/casualty insurance experience in underwriting, claims and management. He most recently served as the head of general liability underwriting at another leading U.S. insurance group.
Lubrano joined Berkley Global Product Recall as president at its founding. As chairman, he will continue to support the Berkley Global Product Recall team as the business evolves and expands. In addition, he will remain a key member of the W. R. Berkley Corporation team.

Great American Insurance Group has promoted Michael B. Mulvey to divisional president within its FCIA – Trade Credit & Political Risk Division.
Mulvey joined FCIA in 2012 as divisional vice president, leading its claim and recovery operations. In 2021, he was promoted to divisional senior VP and was responsible for reinsurance, compliance and corporate governance, as well as serving on the division’s Credit Committee.
