Arch Insurance International appointed Tom Rivers as Chief Risk Officer.
Rivers has extensive enterprise risk management and regulatory experience in corporate actuarial and risk management roles, gained over a 20-year career working in the insurance sector, the announcement noted.
Rivers joins from AXIS Managing Agency where he was Chief Risk Officer for nearly five years. Before that, he was Chief Risk Officer at Novae Group and previously held senior actuarial roles at PwC.

TigerRisk Partners LLC hired Jim Kilduff to head up the company’s Managing General Agents business.
Kilduff has 17 years of experience in the reinsurance industry and over 20 years of experience in the MGA and program space. He joins from Harbor Hill Solutions, where he was Chief Executive Officer and has extensive experience of helping MGAs to find and secure carrier partners, as well as working with InsurTechs, program managers, insurance and reinsurance companies, and retail and wholesale distributors. Kilduff previously held senior positions with companies including Outdoorsy Insurance Group, State National Insurance Companies, Morgan White Group, and Unique Capital Solutions.
Kilduff will be based in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. and report to Lindsey Frase, who heads Centers for Excellence at TigerRisk for North America, and his job title will be Head of Programs.

Willis Towers Watson is bringing on John Caldwell as Risk and Broking Leader for the Carolinas.
He is replacing Eric Hein, who announced his retirement earlier in the year, and will be responsible for the growth strategy for the Carolinas region.
Caldwell was previously Resident Sales Leader for Aon’s NY Metro market, where he was responsible for sales strategy and growth in their flagship office and also worked at Gallagher as a national sales leader after his move to Charlotte. He has over 20 years in the industry with broad experience across risk and broking as well as the benefits sector.
