CNA appointed Susan Stone as Executive Vice President and General Counsel, effective June 28, 2021.
Stone will lead the CNA’s Law Department and serve as the principal counsel for CNA on all legal matters including legal consultation across domestic and international business operations, compliance, regulatory and government affairs, securities law, and company litigation. She will report to Dino Robusto, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer at CNA.
Stone joins CNA with over 30 years of legal experience, in both the private sector and as a federal prosecutor. Most recently, she served as General Counsel and Executive Committee Member at Marsh LLC, and had oversight over litigation, transactional, regulatory, and compliance matters for a heavily regulated insurance broking and risk advisory business. Before Marsh, Stone was an Executive Committee Member, Practice Group Head, and Partner at Sidley Austin LLP.

USAA named Ramnik Bajaj Senior Vice President and Chief Data and Analytics Officer.
Bajaj will be responsible for driving the vision, strategy, policy, roadmap and delivery of data and analytics architecture, governance and solutions to advance data driven culture and discipline at USAA. He’ll be reporting to Chief Adminis
t recently, he was the executive vice president and head of data environment and transformation at Wells Fargo & Company. In this capacity, he was accountable for establishing the data management policy and strategy and implementing transformational data programs for the company. Bajaj also oversaw enterprise analytics and data science focused on developing advanced analytics, artificial intelligence and machine learning capabilities.
Before Wells Fargo, he was at Deloitte Consulting for 21 years. As a partner in the financial services data practice, Bajaj led large scale data and analytics transformation programs for several domestic and international financial services institutions.

Markel Corporation promoted Kelly Castriotta to the position of Managing Director, Global Cyber Underwriting Executive.
In her new role, Castriotta will work across the organization leading the global underwriting strategy for affirmative cyber products as well as cyber risks impacting various lines of business for Markel.
Castriotta joined Markel in 2020 to help strengthen cyber underwriting best practices and lead various non-affirmative cyber initiatives at Markel. She has a multifaceted background spanning more than 15 years in underwriting, products, operations, claims, and litigation
Before Markel, Castriotta held senior positions at Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty’s North American operations as Head of Product Development for Financial Lines and the Head of Cyber, Tech, & Media Underwriting. In 2018, she led one of the industry’s first implementations of “silent cyber” solutions by creating new products, training tools, and operational roadmaps for all internal disciplines as well as external trading partners.
