Arch Insurance has a new executive in its Surety arm. Lockton added a bew vice president and Business Development consultant for the firm’s Midwest Series.

Arch Insurance hired Stephen Ruschak as Executive Vice President, Surety. Previously, Ruschak was Chief Executive Officer of The Guarantee Company of North America.

In his new role, Ruschak will have responsibility for Arch’s Surety business and will report to Rich Stock, Chief Underwriting Officer, Large Account Casualty, Surety, and Warranty/Lender Solutions for Arch Insurance North America.

Arch Insurance North America, part of Arch Capital Group Ltd., includes Arch’s insurance operations in the United States and Canada. Arch Capital Group Ltd. is a Bermuda-based company that provides insurance, reinsurance and mortgage insurance globally.

Lockton has added Casey Stine as a vice president and Business Development consultant for the firm’s Midwest Series.

Stine, who has nearly a decade of experience in employee benefits and corporate human resource consulting, is located in the firm’s St. Louis, Mo., office and will focus on total rewards consulting for companies across all industries and sizes.

Prior to Lockton, Stine served in many different roles at Aon, ranging from actuarial and financial consulting to working with clients in the higher education, healthcare, financial services, and manufacturing industries, to name a few. Most recently, he worked with some of the firm’s largest and most complex clients, including two of the largest 50 employers in the nation.

In his role at Lockton, Stine will work with clients to create comprehensive health plans, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability and voluntary products, consulting with clients to develop their total rewards and benefits strategies.
