Everest Insurance added two executives to its Excess Casualty team. Willis Towers Watson appointed an executive within its Insurance Consulting and Technology (ICT) business. Marsh made some new leadership appointments in its U.S. and Canada Energy and Power Practice.

Everest Insurance added two executives to its Excess Casualty team.
Rey Haliti is joining Everest as a director in the Excess Casualty group. Previously, Haliti spent over 5 years at Chubb as an Assistant Vice President, Excess Casualty. Before that, Haliti worked at AIG as a senior underwriter of Excess Casualty National Accounts. Rey began his insurance career as a Claims Analyst at AIG.
Auberson Eustache signs on with Everest as a Manager. Most recently, he spent time as an Excess & Umbrella Senior Underwriter at Crum & Forster. Previously, he worked as an underwriter at XL Group and Old Republic Construction Program Group, and as an Account Executive for Marsh.
Rey and Auberson will both be based in the company’s NYC office, reporting in to Jake Sokol, Vice President and Regional Manager of Excess Casualty.

Willis Towers Watson appointed Katey Walker as Americas P&C sales and practice leader within its Insurance Consulting and Technology (ICT) business. Walker will also join the Americas ICT leadership team.
Walker will tasked with leading the practice, defining market strategy and driving growth. She’ll report to Serhat Guven, Americas leader for ICT, Willis Towers Watson.
Previously, Walker was a senior director and led the Claims Analytics practice at Willis Towers Watson. Before this, she worked as a consulting actuary specializing in predictive analytics. She also served in senior leadership roles at CNA Insurance and Liberty Mutual Group.

Marsh made some new leadership appointments in its U.S. and Canada Energy and Power Practice.
Amy Barnes has been appointed U.S. and Canada Energy Power Leader. She reports to Pat Donnelly, Head of U.S. and Canada at Marsh JLT Specialty, and Andrew George, Global Head of Energy and Power.
Earlier this year, Barnes relocated to Houston from London to become Deputy Energy and Power and Integration Leader, responsible for helping to shape the newly formed Marsh JLT Specialty Energy and Power team. Before that, Barnes was Chief Client Officer for Marsh UK’s Global Energy and Power business. She joined Marsh in 2002 as an environmental insurance broker.
In addition, Brad Vescarelli has joined Marsh as Energy and Power Leader for Canada, reporting to David Richards, Head of Marsh JLT Specialty in Canada, and Ms. Barnes. He is based in Marsh’s Calgary, Alberta, Canada, office.
Vescarelli joins Marsh from CES Energy Solutions where he served as Legal and HR Director, with responsibility for the company’s risk management and insurance program. Before that, he spent seven years at Marsh Canada serving as an energy broker and client executive. He began his career as a litigator.
