A rising GEICO executive will now be assistant vice president of the insurer’s product management division and be based at corporate headquarters. Lockton is hiring a Marsh veteran to be executive vice president of Lockton Specialty Practices.

Ashley Schneider has been promoted to assistant vice president of GEICO’s product management division at its corporate headquarters in Chevy Chase, Md.
Schneider began her GEICO career in 2007 in the pricing and product management division. She has held several positions within the division, with pricing and product management responsibility for five of the company’s 10 regional offices. Most recently, Schneider has been an integral part of leading GEICO’s new product development efforts, according to the insurer.
Schneider has a bachelor’s degree in mathematics, with a concentration in actuarial science, from Loyola College in Baltimore. She is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society.

Now a member of the Berkshire Hathaway family of companies, GEICO also provides homeowners, renters, condo, flood identity theft and term live coverages through non-affiliated insurance companies secured through the GEICO Insurance Agency.

Lockton hired Devin Beresheim to be executive vice president of Lockton Specialty Practices.
Beresheim replaces Brian Kawamoto, who retired last year, and he will report to Peter Clune, the broker’s U.S. president and chief operating officer.
Beresheim, a 28-year insurance industry veteran, joins Lockton from Marsh, where he most recently served as the financial and professional liability (FINPRO) practice leader – U.S. and Canada. In this role, Beresheim led the practice responsible for providing strategic advice to clients related to directors and officers, errors and omissions, cyber/privacy, transactional risk, and related insurance products and services.
Beresheim will lead Lockton Financial Services and will build strategic growth plans across Lockton’s specialty practices. He will also work closely with Anthony Dagostino, who recently joined Lockton, to build out cyber strategies.
Beresheim currently serves on the board of governors of the World of Children, a global organization dedicated to dramatically improving children’s lives by identifying and recognizing extraordinary individuals who work on behalf of children in need.
