A former AIG executive is joining AXA XL as chief underwriting officer, Short Tail Insurance lines.
Robert Klepper will be reporting to Jason Harris, chief executive, Global Property & Casualty Insurance. AXA XL is the property & casualty and specialty risk division of AXA.
In his new role, Klepper will be responsible for developing core underwriting strategies and optimizing product profitability for short tail insurance lines, including property, construction, and energy, globally. He will work closely with AXA XL’s business line leaders around the globe to develop strategies to achieve their financial objectives and leverage data and analytics to drive underwriting excellence and profitability.
Klepper, a 30-year insurance industry veteran, joins AXA XL from AIG where he most recently served as president of Client Risk Solutions. Klepper’s career includes a number of senior global management positions in the U.S., Bermuda, UK and Asia-Pacific and including his previous tenure with XL (now AXA XL), where he spent more than a decade, serving as global product line manager for XL’s Property, Energy, Construction Fine Art and Specie insurance lines and Risk Engineering.

CyberScout appointed former Experian executive Jennifer Leuer as its new chief executive officer, effective June 24, 2019.
At Experian, Leuer was president of Partner Solutions. CyberScout said that during her tenure at Experian, Leuer transformed the Partners Solutions business into a dynamic and fast-growing operating unit. Leuer’s experience in both business-to-business and business-to-consumer channels will strengthen CyberScout’s distribution capabilities, the company said.
CyberScout, launched in 2003, is a technology company focused on full-spectrum identity, privacy and data security services, offering proactive protection, education, and data theft resolution as well as breach preparedness and response.
