CNA Hardy, a specialist commercial insurance provider for clients within the Lloyd’s and company markets, has beefed up its cyber policy with a new pre-breach service and additional coverages.
Additionally, as part of its expanded cyber cover, CNA Hardy is now offering UK policyholders access to a website security partner, GamaSec.
CNA Hardy said GamaSec joins an existing roster of pre-breach partner services, including penetration testing and cyber security analysis through to cyber security education. Extensive breach assistance and post-breach response partner services are also available, such as forensic investigators, legal services, crisis management and public relations expertise and credit checking agency.
CNA Hardy asserts it is one of the few insurance carriers that provide retroactive cover from when the cyber breach first occurred, regardless of how long the hackers were in the system, undiscovered.
These cyber cover enhancements are now available to both new and existing cyber policyholders in the UK, according to the company, which noted that they also will be rolled out to new and existing policyholders across Continental Europe and Canada in the near future.
CNA Hardy is a division of the U.S. commercial property/casualty insurer CNA.
