XL Catlin has added enhancements to its new P&B aviation insurance platform in a push to give brokers more options.

The carrier’s VP Bind Speed platform was designed to boost its underwriting speed and help it respond more quickly to protect clients’ aviation interests and assets. The new changes give brokers instant online access to certificates, endorsements, and routing servicing features to serve mutual carrier/broker clients and their evolving needs, said Eric Donofrio, North America regional manager for XL Catlin’s aviation insurance business.

New service policy capabilities with the platform include:

• Instant generation of a broad variety of insurance certificates and associated endorsements;
• Easy access to make routine changes to policy, including the addition and deletion of pilots/aircrafts and issue required updated endorsements
• The ability to call up an easy-to-view snapshot of relevant policyholder information , including full data on aircraft, pilots, limits and a complete repository of all policy documents.
• Streamlined cancellation and renewal processing
