JLT Specialty USA appointed Art Morgenstein as senior vice president.
Morgenstein will be based in Los Angeles with a focus on client servicing and growing initiatives in the western United States, taking advantage of JLT’s industry and product specialties. (JLT Specialty USA is a U.S. subsidiary of Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group plc.)
Previously, Morgenstein was with Aon plc, where he served as senior vice president. In this role, he focused on global and enterprise risk management, particularly on risk financing and assessment. As well, he concentrated on the design and launch of property, casualty and professional liability programs for complex risks in the retail, hospitality, private equity, manufacturing, technology, real estate and healthcare industries.
Morgenstein is a 38-year insurance industry veteran and has held a number of senior leadership, underwriting and account executive positions at various international brokerage firms and insurance carriers.

Old Republic International Corp., an insurance holding company, hired on a former executive from The Hartford as its new Senior Vice President/Underwriting & Distribution for Old Republic General Insurance Group.
Jeffrey Lange will become a member of ORGIG’s Office of the Chief Executive Officer, which is the segment’s senior strategy and policy setting executive group.
Lange is a 24-year insurance industry veteran, with much of that time at the Hartford Insurance Group. While there, he held a number of management positions with increasing responsibility over time.

CoreLogic, a global property information, analytics and data-enabled company for insurance and other industries, named Arnold Pinkston as its chief legal officer and corporate secretary.
Pinkston will also serve on CoreLogic’s Executive Leadership Committee, reporting directly to Frank Martell, CoreLogic’s president and CEO.
Pinkston has previously served as general counsel at Allergan Inc. and Beckman Coulter and as deputy general counsel at Eli Lilly and Company. In these roles, he managed complex global business and legal issues concerning board governance, intellectual property privacy, mergers and acquisitions licensing transactions, finance and securities, competition laws, global trade compliance, litigation, and other issues.
Currently, Pinkston is a member of the board of directors of Bio-Rad Laboratories.

Scott McGregor is the new managing director of Assurant subsidiary American Title Inc., an alternative title, valuation and settlement services company.
In his new role, McGregor will oversee ATI product lines and lead strategy/innovation while focusing on strengthening the company’s presence in key markets.
McGregor joined ATI in May 2008 as vice president of Title Service Operations, and he assumed his most recent role as COO in 2013.
Assurant is a specialty insurer focused on niche market insurance products concerning the purchase of homes, cars, appliances, mobile devices and funerals, and other niche areas.
