Chubb was recognized for charitable giving at an annual gala that raised more than $1.4 million to support grants in the Northeast.
Over 900 insurance professionals attended the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation’s (IICF) 10th annual Northeast Charitable Gala at New York City’s historic Waldorf Astoria Hotel on Dec. 14. Proceeds from the event will fund the Northeast Division’s Community Grants Program, which provides grants to regional charities that champion causes pertaining to education, at-risk children, the environment and disaster preparedness.
Chubb was honored as a philanthropic leader, receiving the 2016 IICF “Double I” Award for influence in the industry and impact in the community.
“Over the past 10 years, the IICF Northeast Division has raised more than $7 million—all for grants benefiting those in the New York tri-state area,” noted Peter Tucker, IICF Northeast Division board chair and regional chief operating officer and New York City branch manager at Chubb.
