XL Catlin appointed a former Zurich Insurance executive to a new leadership position for Asia Pacific.
Specifically, Bonnie Chow is now senior underwriter, Political Risk and Trade Credit insurance for the region, and will be based in Sydney.
Before XL Catlin, Chow was at Zurich Insurance Australia, where she served in various positions in the credit and political risk division. Previously, she developed experience at a variety of other businesses or entities including Atradius Credit Insurance, the Australian Prudential Regulatory Authority, Export Finance and Insurance Corp. and Westpac Banking Corp.

Allied World Assurance Company Holdings AG named Dale Chow as senior vice president, Professional Lines for Allied World Bermuda.
In his new role, Chow will handle strategic direction, management, marketing and underwriting of Allied World Bermuda’s professional lines, which includes primary and excess Director & Officer’s, Fiduciary, Financial Institutions, primary Employment Practices Liability, Cyber Liability, Wage and House, and Errors & Omissions.
Previously, Chow was senior vice president within the professional lines division at Endurance Insurance Bermuda. Before that, he worked at Chubb in Vancouver, Canada.
Separately, Allied World U.S. appointed Jason Glasgow as vice president and practice lead for Technology, Privacy & Network Security Professional Liability.
Glasgow will handle the strategy, management and underwriting of Allied World’s U.S. cyber platform. Previously, he was at Travelers, where he most recently held the position of vice president and Cyber Risk product manager.

Marsh promoted Mark Karlson to the position of U.S. HealthCare Practice leader.
He’ll be tasked in his new job with shaping and delivering risk advisory and transactional services to clients in the sector. Most recently, Karlson was FINPRO National HealthCare Practice leader.

Liberty Mutual appointed Rebecca Schechter as executive vice president, Commercial Insurance, and president, Liberty Mutual Benefits.
She joined Liberty Mutual Benefits in July 2015 as senior vice president and general manager for Liberty Mutual Benefits Distribution. The insurer credited her with helping build the sales and service organizations to effectively grow the business.
Before Liberty Mutual, Schechter held a number of executive positions, most recently as senior vice president in institutional investor servicing at State Street Corp.
