Two executives with experience at Chubb, Marsh, Aspen Insurance Holdings and more have signed onto leadership roles at Cunningham Lindsey, a company that provides loss adjusting and claims management services.

Nick Hinton will become Cunningham Lindsey’s new chief financial officer. He was most recently chief financial officer of Marsh International and has held various executive positions at Marsh from 1998 through 2013. Hinton also has prior management experience developed at Arthur Anderson & Co. and Deloitte LLP.

John Cavoores, meanwhile, is joining Cunningham Lindsey as a non-executive director. The property casualty insurance industry veteran has served on boards of companies including Aspen Insurance Holdings, Guidewire Software Inc., Cyrus Re Holdings and Alliance Insurance Holdings. He was also a senior insurance advisor to Blackstone’s Private Equity Group and has advised other private equity firms on insurance-related investments.

Previously, Cavoores has also served as CEO of One Beacon Insurance Company, managing director of White Mountains Insurance Group, and president and COO of National Union Insurance Company. Cavoores also held various management positions at Chubb Insurance Company, including chief underwriting officer of Chubb Specialty, chairman of Chubb Insurance Company of Europe, and executive vice president/managing director of Chubb’s global operations outside of the United States.
