Online insurance provider AssureStart has appointed Chad Zenner as its new chief marketing officer, tasked with driving the company’s digital marketing and branding activities as well as enhancing the customer experience, according to a company statement.
Seattle-based AssureStart sells business property and general liability insurance direct to small businesses on its website, AssureStart.com.
Zenner previously served as director of digital marketing at Principal Financial Group in Des Moines, Iowa, developing online marketing strategies and leading the effort to improve the digital customer experience. Prior to that, he was senior vice president of web marketing at Marsh & McLennan, also in Des Moines, where he managed a strategy to unite hundreds of different websites offering insurance-based products. Zenner is a member of the Direct Marketing Association and the Association of National Advertisers.
