Bill Keogh, who left EQECAT last year to join TigerRisk Partners, has now left the reinsurance brokerage to become chief executive officer of Ultimate Risk Solutions, LLC.

Ultimate Risk Solutions is an independent developer of financial risk analytics and software solutions for the global insurance and reinsurance industry

At TigerRisk Partners, a reinsurance brokerage and risk management advisory firm, Keogh had served as a senior member of the decision support and analytics team.

Previously, at EQECAT, Inc., a catastrophe risk modeling and consulting firm that serves the global property/casualty and reinsurance industry, he has held the position of president.

Keogh began his insurance career with AIG, followed by roles with NAC Re, Swiss Re Atrium, and Risk Management Solutions, Inc.

URS is the developer of Risk Explore dynamic financial analysis risk software technology used by major insurers, reinsurers, reinsurance brokers, and consulting firms as a decision making tool.

URS, headquartered in New York, offers a suite of other analytical products as well. The URS website notes that the firm is an independent software developer.

“We believe clients are best served by a DFA software product that is not tied to a reinsurance broker or to a consulting company for which the brokerage and consulting revenues are the main priority, the website says.
