It is difficult to recall many technologies that have ascended from such relative obscurity to becoming a top agenda item driving conversations across sectors as rapidly as generative artificial intelligence (GenAI).
I see it firsthand in the shift in tone with the conversations I’ve had with clients in the property/casualty insurance sector over the last 12 to 18 months. Not long ago many were questioning the benefits. These days those same conversations are no longer about the potential benefits but rather are anchored to asking about the how. “How can we effectively implement the technology? How can it help my organization navigate the challenges we face? How can we ensure we’re keeping pace with other sectors? What new talent do we need to hire, and how we can upskill our current workforce?”
