Yet even as a new, increasingly “digitized normal” takes shape in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, many insurers still face formidable hurdles in the race for complete and widespread digital adoption. While a recent survey Sapiens undertook with Lightico revealed that 87 percent of insurers are already leveraging data to improve underwriting, only 36 percent of workers compensation carriers are fully digital in their operations.
