Sofie Quidenus-Wahlforss is the CEO of omni:us. She is an experienced managing director with a strong entrepreneurial spirit. Her strategic skills coupled with a passion for AI led her to create omni:us with the goal of redefining the way people work and how companies are handling their business operations.
Prior to omni:us, she founded Qidenus Technologies, which quickly became the leader in the market of robotics and digitization. Quidenus-Wahlforss is also the patent owner of the Vshape scanner Technology and winner of several awards, including The World’s Top 50 Women in Tech 2018 honor from Forbes magazine.
Omni:us is an Artificial Intelligence as a Service (AIaaS) provider for cognitive claims management. It provides the necessary tools and information to make fast, transparent and empathetic claims decisions while improving operational efficiency and reducing loss adjustment expenses.
While other technology firms, including those that Quidenos-Wahlforss worked for previously, increase the amount of digital data—and with it the amount of labor required to handle it—omni:us takes digital unstructured data and transforms it into structured formats required for machine learning. Essentially, omni:us AIaaS scans incoming claims communications, reads the information the documents contain and transforms all of it into actionable insights at each step of the claim process. Instead of claim department professionals spending time on document processing, adjusters can execute data-driven decisions based on the receipt of relevant, timely, accurate information and a holistic view of a claim.
