Less than 10 percent of insurance carriers responding to a recent survey said they spend more than half their time on “disruptive innovation”—and that 10 percent figure has stayed roughly the same in recent years.
While carriers surveyed by Celent clearly understand the need for innovation, and they believe the path to innovation will get easier this year, the majority are still focused on “incremental innovation,” Celent’s Insurance Innovation Outlook 2019 report reveals.
