Maintaining quality staff and keeping up with changing technology and its costs continue to be major drivers of challenge for property/casualty claim departments, according to company executives.
In a blog dated June 6, 2016, Susan Pisano, product innovation manager for ISO Claims Search, wrote that claims cost carriers more than $246 billion in 2015 and that operational inefficiencies need to be minimized to mitigate costs and improve a carrier’s bottom line.
