Pano Karambelas, Vice President and Senior Credit Officer at Moody’s, is a lead analyst responsible for the ratings of a broad group of property/casualty and multiline insurers and reinsurers. Prior to joining Moody’s in 2005, he was Vice President in the insurance corporate finance practice of HSBC Securities in New York City and spent five years in a similar post at JPMorgan Securities. Karambelas holds a BA in mathematics from the University of Pennsylvania and an MS in mathematics from the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences at New York University.
