Andrea Bonime-Blanc, JD/Ph.D., is CEO and Founder of GEC Risk Advisory and a governance, risk, ethics and cyber strategist who advises boards and executives in the private, public, nonprofit and governmental sectors globally. She is a former senior executive in the energy, technology and media sectors and serves as NYU and NACD governance faculty and startup mentor to Plug & Play Tech Center. Since 2017, she has served as Ethics Adviser to the Puerto Rico Financial Oversight Board. In addition to co-authoring “The Artificial Intelligence Imperative” (Praeger 2018), she is author of numerous articles and books, including “The Reputation Risk Handbook: Surviving and Thriving in the Age of Hyper-Transparency” (Greenleaf 2014) and the forthcoming “Gloom to Boom: How Leaders Transform Risk into Resilience and Value” (Routledge/Greenleaf 2019).
